Evaluation

Blogs are a good way of uploading your work onto the Internet for people to view. The main reason i created this blog was to upload my work onto the Internet and also to review other peoples work. I have made posts on exhibitions we have been to and about other trips. I have reviewed other blogs and some work in magazines.

There are many advantages and  disadvantages about blogs, some of them are that it is good for getting your work out for company's and professionals to see. A bad point is that anyone can upload there work even if it is not very good, so this means its hard for people to find good work because of all the rubbish.

I have found this on a recent post on the modern toss blog. I like this because it is humorous and to the point. This is a news print and is available for purchase from The Outsiders. These prints cost £45 each and the dimesnsions are 39.5 cm x 29.6 cm.

www.nyclondon.com/blog

This is a blog that i have been looking at for a few weeks. I like the work on this blog because the creator Rob Gardiner trys to capture images from places where people don't usually see or cant easily get to. his images are all in black and white. He uses old cameras to get the types of images he has. Gardiner also has used a pinhole camera as shown below.

"These photos were taken this afternoon with a pinhole camera. A box
with a tiny pinprick-sized hole and a piece of film, it has no lens, no
shutter, no cable release, no meter, and no viewfinder."

Here are some of the images taken with this style of camera:
